Record Snowfall in Henderson/Las-Vegas
It started snowing around 12pm on Wednesday, December 17th, 2008, and kept on going through the night. It snowed several inches, which is quite a bit for Southern Nevada! Residents struggled to get home on the icy, slippery streets, and waited for snow plows to be sent in from neighboring areas. What might seem like a pittance to some parts of the country, basically shut the city of Henderson down for about 24 hours. Below are some pictures I took with my iPhone midday.
