Rainy Day at Lake Mead

Every now and again, I like to hop on Lake Mead Boulevard and cruise the loop via Lakeshore Rd. It's only about 20 minutes away, there's a couple of nice stops along the loop, and I stop by Boulder City on the way back into Henderson. It only costs a couple of bucks to get through the park gates, and makes for a nice retreat from the city for a few hours. It is especially beautiful on those rainy days where the fog and low-lying clouds get caught up in the surrounding mountains.
